Do I need an account to use the pledge counter?
No. Open the page and start tapping. There is no sign-up and no login. Your tally is saved in this browser on this device, so you can close the tab and come back.
Where is the data stored?
Only on the device you are using, in the browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to KindLumen. Export a CSV before you clear the board or switch devices — a different phone or laptop starts with an empty board.
Can I show the total on a projector or TV?
Yes. Big screen mode fills the screen with the total, the number of pledges, and the goal bar, and keeps the amount buttons at the bottom so the same laptop can run the board and the display.
Can I change the pledge amounts?
Yes. Click Customize amounts and type the amounts your crowd uses, for example 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 5000. Any other amount can be added with the custom field.
How do I collect the pledges afterwards?
Export the pledge list for follow-up, then send pledgers a KindLumen donation link. A pledge becomes a donation only after the donor completes checkout; completed one-time or monthly gifts are recorded in your connected Stripe account and KindLumen dashboard.
