Put this gift range chart on your website
Paste the two lines below wherever your site accepts HTML — a Custom HTML block in WordPress, a Code block in Squarespace, an Embed element in Wix or Webflow. It sizes itself to fit and stays up to date automatically. A small “Free tool by KindLumen” line stays at the bottom.

Gift range chart questions.
What is a gift range chart?
A planning table for a capital or major campaign. It shows how many gifts you need at each level to reach the goal — typically one lead gift of 10–25% of the goal, then levels that halve in size while the number of gifts doubles — and how many prospects to cultivate for each level.
Why so many prospects?
Not everyone says yes. The usual rule is three qualified prospects for every gift you need, and four or more at the top of the pyramid, where a single “no” matters most.
How big should the lead gift be?
Small campaigns lean on a lead gift of about 25% of the goal; very large ones closer to 10%. The calculator picks a default by goal size, and you can change it.
What if we don’t have a lead donor that large?
Lower the lead gift percentage and the chart will need more gifts at each level. If the chart looks unrealistic for your donor base, the goal or the timeline probably needs to change — that is exactly what the chart is for.
How do we track the campaign once it starts?
Create a campaign in KindLumen with the goal and what you have already raised. It gets a page with a live progress bar and a donation form, and a card you can embed on your website.
